Lux Travel DMC Team Joins Voluntary Blood Donation Initiative in Hanoi
Hanoi, early October 2026 – Lux Travel DMC came together at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Hanoi to participate in a voluntary blood donation initiative, reaffirming the company’s commitment to community support and corporate social responsibility.
The activity brought together 22 registered employees from different departments across LuxGroup, including Lux Travel DMC and Lux Cruises, alongside Dr. Pham Ha, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of LuxGroup. Through this initiative, the team aimed to support the blood supply needed for patient treatment while encouraging compassion, solidarity, and voluntary service among colleagues.
Supporting Patients Through Voluntary Blood Donation
Blood donations play an important role in healthcare, providing blood and blood components for patients who need transfusions during medical treatment, surgery, and emergency care. Voluntary blood donation is therefore a practical way for individuals and organizations to contribute to the wider healthcare community.
The initiative took place at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT), a national-level specialist institution in Vietnam dedicated to hematology, blood transfusion, and related medical services. Located in Hanoi, the institute plays an important role in blood collection, testing, processing, and supply, alongside its clinical and research activities.
By choosing a specialized hematology and transfusion institution as the venue, Lux Travel DMC employees had the opportunity to contribute directly to a healthcare-related cause through a structured, medically supervised donation process.
Upon arrival, participants completed registration and underwent health screenings conducted by healthcare professionals to determine their eligibility to donate. While some employees could not proceed following the medical assessment, their willingness to participate remained an important expression of the collective commitment to helping others.
Employees who were eligible to donate contributed approximately 350 milliliters of blood each, providing a tangible contribution to the ongoing work of supporting patients in need of transfusions.

A Shared Commitment to Community Responsibility
The participation of employees from different departments reflected a shared understanding that corporate responsibility extends beyond everyday business activities. The initiative also offered colleagues an opportunity to connect through a common purpose and take part in an activity with direct social value.
Dr. Pham Ha, Founder, Chairman and CEO of LuxGroup, joined the team in the donation activity, highlighting the importance of leading by example and encouraging employees to take an active role in community initiatives.
Throughout the day, colleagues supported one another as they completed the registration and screening procedures and waited for their turns. The experience brought together employees in a different setting from their usual workplace, reinforcing a sense of connection and shared responsibility.
For Lux Travel DMC, the initiative represented more than a one-day activity. It reflected the company’s belief that meaningful contributions to society can begin with practical actions and the willingness of individuals to participate.
“Giving Is Receiving”: Putting People First
During the activity, Dr. Pham Ha shared a message that captured the spirit of the initiative: “Giving is receiving”. The message reflects the idea that giving is not only about what we contribute to others, but also about the sense of purpose and shared humanity that can come from helping those in need.
For blood donors, the beneficiaries may be people they will never meet. Yet their contribution can become part of another person’s treatment and recovery journey. This makes voluntary blood donation a meaningful expression of care, solidarity and respect for human life.
The initiative also aligns with LuxGroup’s People First philosophy, which places people at the heart of its business and organizational culture. While Lux Travel DMC connects travelers with destinations, cultures and communities across Asia, its responsibility as a business also includes contributing positively to the communities in which it operates.
Through activities such as voluntary blood donation, the company seeks to encourage employees to translate these values into action and recognize that responsible business practices include caring for people beyond the workplace.

Continuing to Make a Positive Contribution
The blood donation initiative reflects Lux Travel DMC’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and responsible business practices. It demonstrates how employees can contribute to a meaningful social cause through a simple, voluntary act.
Looking ahead, the company aims to continue creating opportunities for employees to participate in community-focused initiatives, fostering a workplace culture built on empathy, solidarity and shared responsibility.
For Lux Travel DMC, making a positive difference does not always require large-scale projects. It can begin with a decision to contribute, an opportunity to support others and a collective willingness to turn shared values into meaningful action.
Giving blood is one such action: a practical contribution that connects individual generosity with the wider needs of the community.
